Welcome to Ruwach Emeth

Ruwach is the phonetic spelling of the Hebrew word for spirit or wind. Emeth is the Hebrew word for truth. Ruwach Emeth is dedicated to presenting a fresh look at scriptural truths in the Bible and other lesser-known documents. Our ways of living and viewing each other can be improved by a deeper understanding of our creator who cares for all creation. The messages received over time can help us now as they always have. The goal is to make this information useful for the layperson, the practitioner, and the believer.

Truth is Light!

“Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I go away. For if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin because they believe not on me; of righteousness because I go to my Father and you see me no more. Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have many things to say unto to you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Howbeit, when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come.”

John 16:7-13

A New Dialogue

It’s time to change the conversation. Our religious leaders have talked about sin and death more than they’ve talked about life and peace. Often, our religious practices and dogma have overshadowed the true purpose of connection with the Father – abundant life. Let’s merge our practical lives with our spiritual lives the way we were meant to. It’s time to reset our priorities and renew our faith in truth!

Foundations

Integrated Wholeness

People are people and we all can use more ways to achieve wholeness and spiritual health. Though we all make mistakes and have growing pains, faith, wisdom, and right knowledge can help us to avoid some of the problems we create for ourselves. The more clearly we think and see, the better we can live. Let’s get back to the fundamentals of faith, truth, and service!

Ruwach Emeth’s Teaching

The staff or shepherd’s crook can be used for many things while tending sheep. It can catch, corral, and correct the sheep in a variety of situations. Psalm 23 speaks of the comfort that the rod and staff bring in relation to the good shepherd. The goal of this shepherd is the health and well-being of the sheep, even when “sticky situations” may require the shepherd to put his own life at risk. Who is your shepherd?

Featured Image – “Therefore will I remember….”

I have chosen this as my featured image due to its location. The image depicts Mt. Hermon in the background with Lula Lake in the foreground. I chose it because it reflects my pursuit of building up that which has already been established – truth. Daily, our Father’s love is re-established as this mountain has been for millenia. David recounts victories given him by the Lord in his sadness and this is one of the places he mentions specifically. It is a testament to the faithfulness of the Father and his eternal love.

“O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore, will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.”

Psalm 42:6-8
