“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”        Galatians 5: 22-23

Let’s start thriving!

Change is constant, but it’s one of the hardest things we do. Actually, change happens with or without us. I believe we need to be masters of transition to weather the difficulties of big changes. Just like centuries old trees, we need strong roots! If we get rooted in the spirit of our Eternal Father we can be as the tree planted by the rivers of living water spoken of in Psalm 1.

The prerequisite for a prosperous future is delight in the ways of the Father. His ways are only difficult when we value ourselves in our temporary state over him in his eternal state. The crux of the gospel is the fact that we can know his eternal love for us. We are valuable to our heavenly Father! As such, we need to value each other and care for ALL of the things the Father has allowed us to acquire.

If we do this in spirit and in truth, we will succeed in all things we attempt. Living truly prevents us from attempting things that are outside of the realm of the Father’s will. That being said, look at how far we’ve come! None of this would be possible without the Father’s mercy and power. If we truly want to build or re-build, we have to start with the truth!

We’ll have to fight for it! Check out my “two cents” on spiritual warfare. Let’s get to work!

“For they that are after the things of the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the spirit the things of the spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Romans 8:5-6

Amen! The Holy Spirit can help us change even if we do not know where to start. Those fruit become ripe after a season of obedience as we grow in the faith, not over night. This is for the babes in Christ that are frustrated with the challenges of spiritual warfare.

    1. I hope we all can see places for growth, as led by the Holy Spirit. More importantly, the Spirit of the Lord helps ALL who believe no matter what the level of experience or maturity is. If we can move with the spirit and in the spirit, we each can become the vessel we were designed to be.
