At a Crossroads
While I prefer to stay in my lane of spiritual education, I don’t live in a vacuum. The treatment of Liz Cheney by the Republican Party has set a line of demarcation in my book. They set this line a while ago, but it seems they’re doubling and tripling down.
Is the Republican Party evolving into an extremist group? If the pattern of denying facts and lying continues for the sake of political capital in the media, the decline of America will be accelerated. We really do need a wakeup call.
Our politicians have spent so much time in the last decades playing politics that many of our practical purposes for government have been neglected. There’s lead in the water of several cities. Infrastructure of all kinds is failing, and it seems that we’re still stuck in a past that isn’t working for today.
When are we going to collectively say YES to integrity? Gerrymandering, political gamesmanship, outright lying, and manipulating the psyche of the poor, weak, and undereducated does have consequences!!! Whether our politicians believe in our heavenly Father or not, “you reap what you sow.”
I implore those with true faith to pray and start to replace these false servants with true public servants that have the foundations of faith and fear of the Lord.
