NOT YOU!
Sometimes I wonder if we can recognize the true servants of the Lord anymore. As I’ve tried to capture in the few scriptures I’ve added to this post, over and over the men the Father chose to use were rejected by the people, HIS people.
More often than I can recount in this post, men chosen by the Father have been rejected, abused, and even killed because of the job they were given to do by the Father. Remember, Christ was crucified for doing good deeds! His crucifixion was encouraged and instigated by his own people.
Are we looking at the right things? Are we doing the right things? Though many of us are claiming to “shine our lights,” it continues to get darker and darker. Consider what Christ said in Matthew 6:23! “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”
“And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.”
Samuel 8:7
