Food for Thought

I think a lot. Thinking, while being a great strength, can be a great weakness. It’s a good thing more than one thing can be true at the same time. Finding balance is often rooted in our abilities to recognize the complexities of truth itself.

In my last several blog posts, I’ve focused a lot on faith. The truth of faith is not easily quantifiable or easy to discuss. But faith helps to connect us to that which is greater than we are, helping us to know our fragile place in the world. Consider the truth of the statements below; some are hard to prove.

True love is eternal.

Love can hurt. Ask a good parent.

There is a time for everything.

Value now.

There’s always something to learn. What are you learning?

Love is not lust and lust is not love.

This life is a fragile gift. Who are you NOW?

Mistakes can be good teachers.

Be careful what you learn!

There are exceptions to rules.
