On a Personal Note

“The dew of the Lord rinsed me with silence, and a cloud of peace rose over my head, guarding me. It became my salvation. Everybody quivered in horror. They issued smoke and judgment, but I was silent, near my Lord, who was more than shadow, more than foundation.”

Uncovering More

I haven’t really been blogging a lot lately. Today, I’m breaking that trend with two new poems. These poems are from the Odes of Solomon who, like his father, was a prolific writer.

The two poems I’ve chosen are very personal in nature, especially for the current moment of my life. If you’ve watched my latest video, you may begin to see the connectedness of many things I have presented.

My hope is that you, too, will find our Father and rest in him. Though life presents us with constant challenges, usually self-created, we can protect ourselves with the faith that we can overcome anything with him.

“I found rest in the spirit of the Lord who raised me and had me stand on my feet in the high terrains of the Lord, before his perfection, before his glory, while I praised him in my poems.”
